 Maths activities:
All children from Years 2 to 6 have been given a password and login for the Times Table Rock Stars website and app.  On this site, they can play safely against their friends, siblings and the world. Children will move up the rankings to become a Times Table Rock Star.  Each child can create and build their own avatar with a unique avatar name.  Teachers are able to set their children personalised targets.  It is expected that children spend 20 minutes each week learning their times tables.

Year 1 children will continue to have Big Maths sessions during maths lessons at school. They can also access the Big Maths PowerPoints and resources below.

In addition, times tables are also crucial to consolidating children’s learning, so playing games on the internet will support their learning. Children should play board games such as monopoly and enjoy using their maths knowledge in everyday life by telling the time and whilst shopping.
