Maths at Priestthorpe

 Maths activities:

Maths homework will take the form of Learn Its. Most children are familiar with these and they promote consolidation of basic maths facts.  Children will be given practice tests for them to complete and return to school weekly. They can also access the Big Maths PowerPoints and resources below.

In addition, times tables are also crucial to consolidating children’s learning, so playing games on the internet will support their learning. Children should play board games such as monopoly and enjoy using their maths knowledge in everyday life by telling the time and whilst shopping.
